Oscar received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne.His research interests include Machine Learning, Data Science, Spatial Databases, Graph Theory, Geometric Deep Learning, Optimization.He has worked in the industry for 12+ years, and recently for ARUP, one of the largest civil engineering companies in the world. His task in ARUP was to build models to predict scour occurring in Alaska bridges.He was a Lecturer of Database Systems at the University of Melbourne.He has published in ACM SIGSPATIAL and EAI MobiQuitous and one of his papers has been chosen to be included in an ACM TSAS Special Issue of the best papers from the 2017 ACM SIGSPATIAL Conference.
