A engineer with experience in utilizing ISO standards to create and review Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions in the mass manufacturing of products. Conducted research over AI and data science to come up with a creative solution through analytical skills and Python. Familiar with 2D and 3D modeling software in order to design creative solutions. Have an understanding and the experience within the world of supply chain logistics and warehouse management systems. I consistently take the initiative to learn in order to jump at opportunities towards becoming a leader through a good work ethic and positive attitude. My past research experience consisted of another researcher and I creating a convolutional neural network that would help identify inattentiveness to assist in drowning prevention. Our model was simple and able to successfully classify inattentiveness in our dataset and we also used saliency mapping in order to determine how the model was interpreting the data for classification.My experience as an intern for a manufacturing plant that developed complex products through metal injection molding consisted of utilizing ISOs in order to review, maintain, and establish various work instructions and standard operation procedures. I was a part of a team that would identify and contain problems, identify root causes, develop a solution, and implement corrective and preventative action. I was also responsible for analyzing defects of products through x-ray and developing first drafts of work instruction and standard operating procedures for x-ray operation and problem identification.I graduated from the Alamo Colleges and take pride in my effort and investment into my Associates in Engineering. My desire and appreciation for the sciences comes from my experiences through my education, STEM research program CIMA-LSAMP, and my internship. I wish to continuously put myself in a position of growth through challenges and a positive mindset.
