Job Summary:As an Adjuster on Allstate's National Catastrophe Team, you will play a vital role in addressing claims on-site in catastrophe zones and expediting their settlement. This position requires exceptional agility in learning, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of customer needs. You will be responsible for arranging transportation, scheduling claims, negotiating settlements, discussing scope, and addressing supplemental damage efficiently and effectively.Responsibilities:1. Deploy to catastrophe zones and expeditiously settle up to five claims per day on-site.2. Arrange appropriate transportation to reach claim locations and evaluate damages accurately.3. Schedule and prioritize claims based on urgency, ensuring timely resolutions for customers.4. Negotiate settlements by assessing damages and considering policy coverage and applicable laws.5. Conduct thorough discussions with policyholders regarding claim scope, answering questions and addressing concerns.6. Identify and address any supplemental damage that may impact the settlement process.7. Ensure proper documentation and organization of claim files, adhering to company policies and procedures.8. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support the overall objectives of the National Catastrophe Team.
