I come from the small village of Grenagh, Co. Cork, Ireland. I immigrated to the United States at the age of 23 with a suitcase and $500 in my pocket. I worked in the greater Boston area for 15 years running a successful carpentry and contracting business out of Southborough, Massachusetts. In 2015, my family and I moved to Colorado for the love of the outdoors and to continue my pursuit of the American dream.With 20 years of construction experience, I have a broad skill set ranging from new construction to historic home renovation and small commercial projects to large, complex multi-family projects. Starting out as a carpenter, I have developed my skill set over the years from custom woodworking and cabinetry to building homes and additions throughout Massachusetts as a licensed general contractor. As a lead superintendent previously with CFC Construction and now with Alliance Residential having experience from the ground-up to closeout for multi-family housing developments, I understand the importance of quality construction. My specific areas of expertise cover PT decks, wood framing, and prescient framing ranging from five-story buildings to high-rise buildings.I bring hands-on field management skills to each project and maintain collaborative client, subcontractor and supplier relationships. My greatest strength is bringing people together to get the job done. I am an on-the-spot, problem-solver. Quality control, job-site safety and organization are my forté. Of course with being Irish, humor is fundamental to having a good day and running a successful job. Most importantly, I say what I do and do what I say.
