Defined vision and led development for company’s first web-based imagery exploitation application, delivering imagery analysis capabilities to new classes of users on desktop, touch and mobile devices.

Member of a small Advanced Concepts Group charged with IRAD development, baseline product support, customer outreach, and future architecture specification.Developed several web-based prototype imagery exploitation apps based on jQuery, HTML5, and WebGL. Apps targeted desktop browsers and iOS/Android mobile devices. Wrote C#/C++ IIS handler to serve imagery, geospatial services, and metadata to web apps.

Developed enhancements for ELT/Series, a high-performance geospatial image analysis product suite. Primary area of responsibility was core services: data pipeline, image processing, and georeferencing.Implemented numerous product capabilities, including: orthocalibration, forward RPC transforms, 3D stereo cursor, SSE2-based ortho-polynomial projection, two-color multi-view (2CMV) comparison, Direct2D display rendering, two-axis JPEG 2000 dynamic quality reduction.

Sole engineer for a small software start-up. Maintained and enhanced FilmDesk Pro: a high-performance image analysis product, NetView/X: an imaging plug-in for web browsers, and ZoomDigital: a camera interface application for zoom stereoscopes.Implemented many new capabilities, including: asynchronous multi-threaded tiling engine, display-synchronized image rendering, enhanced display-processing chain, customized GIS database interface, high-performance JPEG 2000 support. Responsible for all aspects of the software lifecycle: design, project scheduling, installer configurations, product release, and technical support.All-Source Imaging Systems was acquired by Overwatch in July 2006.
