As lead and anchor for the TotalEnergies EP Uganda's Tilenga Projects Netgain Programme, I worked with various stakeholders and partners including MDAs to ensure that development did not produce adverse effects on the environment and biodiversity including the social aspect by implementing activities according to the mitigation hierarchy (thru avoidance, minimization, restoration and offsets) to ensure Netgain/ No Net Loss of biodiversity.

• I played a key role in strategic planning for the organization and supporting strategy while also performing administrative functions; • I ensured implementation of integrated forestry, wildlife and natural resources conservation and socio-economic development projects through a community conservation approach while also providing technical oversight in these thematic areas;• I undertook conceptualization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all projects and programmes ensuring their sustainability through project integration, risks and change management; • I provided coordination and technical support to the implementation of all field projects in target sites in addition to undertaking several administrative functions including field financial approvals, management of organizational assets, bid solicitation, management and part of approval team; • I managed a cross-functional human resource team, conduct staff assessment, identify capacity gaps and ensure their development and motivation to deliver targeted projects; and organizational goals and objectives; • Through partnership with sister agencies, Local Governments, private sector, CBOs and stakeholders; and donors, I coordinate project and organizational activities to ensure synergies and efficiency in delivery of targeted outputs; • I identified and liaised with project stakeholders on an on-going basis vital to the organizational success; tracking planned tasks/activities, monitoring changes, and timely reporting on the said activities; and participating in planning, implementation and evaluation of training for communities, and other beneficiaries on forestry and alternative livelihood interventions;• I conducted regular financial and narrative reports including technical, progressive and periodic reports according to stipulated requirements of the donors and organization.

Oversee implementation of the Jane Goodall Institute's activities and programmes in the taget sites within the entire Albert rift region of Uganda. I managed pogramme staff and resources for projects/ programmes ensuring the vision, goals and objectives of the organization as well as that of the donors were achieved. I worked collaboratively with partners and stakeholders for the success of the projects/programmes. I was at the the core of conceptualizing proposals and budget development and management in coordination with finance while also ensuring M & E was integrated and executed t ensure quality control. I wrote various types of reports including technical and end of project reports among others as and when necessary.

Overall, I implemented a three-year USAID-funded WILD-North (Wildlife, Landscapes and Development for Conservation) Project by integrating wildlife conservation and socio-economic development to ensure sustainability of conservation efforts in the Mt. Otzi Forest landscape but specifically working in partnership with National Forestry Authority (NFA) and collaboration with Nimuke National Park authority in South Sudan under a transboundary arrangement:• To increase the area of protected area (PA) that is formally and effectively protected, by involving local communities in the decision-making and practical action for the management and protection of Mt. Otzi CFR and by improving capacity for effective monitoring and law enforcement by NFA (Ranger Based Monitoring). This included establishment of ranger outposts, radio installations, additional staff recruitment and trainings;• To establish Collaborative Forest Management (CFM) groups as nucleus for the establishment of tree nurseries and woodlots as safeguards to the natural forest reserve; • To conduct feasibility assessments including Chimpanzee range (and wildlife) reconnaissance and threats analysis; economic assessment; and• To identify area planting needs of community and provide technical guidance for species site matching.

Implemented the USAID-funded ACDI Cassava Project,(“Expansion of the dissemination and utilization of mosaic resistant cassava varieties covering Gulu, Lira, Apac, Kibale, Kiboga, Iganga and Nakasongola districts”). This was a livelihoods/food security enhancement project aimed at improving productivity; commercial utilization and rural farming household incomes.

Implemented the USAID-funded Development Assistance Project (DAP) aimed at improving food security and incomes of 20,000 households of farm families in the Internally Displaced People’s (IDP) camps and other war-affected communities in Gulu and Kitgum Districts.

I implemented the USAID-funded agricultural development project in Lira/Apac districts aimed at agricultural recovery of communities in the post Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) conflict in northern Uganda by: Helping the country team with project proposal development; Managing field monitoring and evaluation desk; Facilitating farmer group formation; Developing, implementing and managing branch activity budgets; Conducting mid-term and all staff performance appraisals; Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports as well as other situational reports; and participating in project reviews and planning workshops.

Reporting to Business Advisor with specific mandates of: planning, implementing and managing branch activities and budgets in Nebbi and Arua districts; developing; conducting activity monitoring; planning and conducting extension programmes on agricultural production and marketing; initiating and establishing market linkages for farmer groups through commodity mobilization and marketing; developing partnership with CBOs and NGOs; planning, implementing and managing all procurements; helping the Business Advisor in identifying and signing business contracts; and managing all company assets and fixtures.

An international produce export company. I was charged with market assessment, procurement and quality assurance and organizing logistics and documents for exporting various produce.
