Completed 10 weeks of clinical placement at Princess Alexandria Hospital Spinal Injuries Unit (SIU).• Applying the Occupational Performance Model of Australia (OPMA), I assisted individual spinal cord injury patients to achieve their maximum level of independence in self-care, domestic duties, work and leisure• Completed and presented knowledge translation project in spinal unit team conference for the critical appraisal and potential implementation of a new standardised assessment tool, the Powered Mobility Driving Assessment Training Tool (PoMoDATT) - used for assessing patient safety and skill when prescribing Power Wheelchairs.• Demonstrated timely and effective patient account maintenance by scheduling patient sessions, stats inputs, organising and engaging in joint sessions with other MDT, created and kept clinical documentation via IeMR and prepared draft discharge summaries and NDIS applications. • Completed various standardised and non- standardised assessments – Functional Independence Measure (FIM), 9- Hole peg test, Hand Dexterity Assessment, Initial Assessment, Manual Muscle Testing and Power-drive Wheelchair skills/ Safety Assessment.• Assisted in Upper limb retaining, applying tenodesis ranging and training methods, strength, coordination and dexterity interventions and creating simple splints to improve function and engagement in ADL occupations.

Completed 10 weeks of full time Occupational Therapy placement at Redlands Hospital.• With guidance of the PEO model I completed individual ED caseloads, took part in Acute Ward Inpatient intervention and successfully built rapport and demonstrated client-centred collaboration with patients/ family. • Completed knowledge translation project and presented during OT team conference in relation to critical appraisal of OT interventions for graded return to activity following minor head injury. • Completed OT Assessment and Intervention for fall prevention, neurological conditions, delirium, dementia, head injuries and generalised injuries and completed My AgedCare Education• Successfully prescribed adequate equipment for safety and independence and completed simple meal preparation, shower and transfer assessments to assess physical function, safety and cognition.• Regularly collaborated with MDT, PT, Community nurses, Speech Therapists, Social Workers and Doctors.• Completed various Standardised/non-Standardised assessments including Initial Ax, Neurological Screens, Minor Head injury Screens, MoCA, SMMSE, WPTAS and safety & judgement questions.
