Dear readers, I'm happy to share my background and experiences with you.I got my Bachelor's degree in 2019, entitled: Technology and Quality in Agri-Food, at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques in Béni Mellal, Morocco. Then, I got my Master's degree in 2022, entitled: Engineering for food eco-design (ICOA) at Montpellier SupAgro, France. Currently, I am a Quality Manager / Research & Development at Amazon Caribbean, Guyana AMCAR.During my academic and professional career, I have been able to develop my skills in research and development and quality at the same time.In Research and Development (R&D): I was able to develop my knowledge and skills during my Master's degree, which I applied to succeed in my two M1 and M2 internships and to achieve my objectives for my current position. I worked on the development of a yogurt based on coconut milk, including a market study, formulation of the product using experimental designs on Statistica, selection of the formula developed using sensory analyses, extrapolation of the manufacturing process from laboratory scale to pilot scale, validation of the finished product using sensory and physicochemical analyses, elaboration of the nutritional value of the product. I worked at INRA in Nantes on the development of a method for measuring the texture of legumes, studying and modeling the influence of moisture and starch crystallization on texture. I am currently working on the development of new products for AMCAR.As for my experience in quality, I learned the basics during my bachelor's degree in HACCP, ISO 22000 and ISO 9001. I didn't lose touch with quality during my Master's specialized in R&D: by keeping up with new developments, I was also able to learn about the IFS standard, which enabled me to pass the IFS V7 audit in February 2023 at AMCAR with a score of 98%.
