Amiran is a dream realized.Growing up loving and playing video games eventually progressed into a desire to make one. This project took over two years to develop. It was completely bootstrapped and like many great endeavors, IF (I had known what I was getting myself into) { I wouldn't have said yes.}As the developer:+ I wrote & edited the RPG story line (yes... everything)+ Designed the game mechanics and user interface+ Programmed the game in ActionScript (10,000s of lines of code... scary)+ Hired and managed an international team of artists and musicians (UK, Spain, USA)+ QA testing including beta user feedback over multiple monthsAs the business manager:+ Integrated player metrics tracking+ Integrated virtual goods in order to monetize the game+ Marketed the game & negotiated placement on portalsThe game is live on armorgames.com and currently has nearly half a million plays.
