Promoted into the position of Team Leader, I managed and mentored a team of specialist recruitment consultants within the Technology Division. Supplementing my role as a Senior Consultant in the QA, Testing and IT Security vertical, I was responsible for coaching, supporting and managing a team of IT Recruitment Consultants, and successfully changed a perfunctory team into a high-performing unit.Responsible for managing and supporting the internal recruitment process, by conducting behavioural interviews and utilising Topgrading techniques to ensure we maintained the right culture fit for TRC, and hired the "top 10%" in the market.I was also responsible for managing a key initiative in 2012 where the focus for the company was to be rated “significantly better than our competitors”, by more than 90% of customers we surveyed throughout the year. Along with a considerable amount of process improvement initiatives, this included identifying a number of key touch-points with our customers (Clients and Candidates), and running a number of internal workshops (Think Tanks) to get a collective and open discussion about how we can improve the quality of our service. We not only achieved this goal by the end of 2012, but as a result of this work we were also recognised by the Australian Business Awards and awarded an ABA for Service Excellence.
