I am currently a PGY5-6 Medical Doctor engaged in Locum roles around Australia since 2021, including Emergency Registrar, General Medical Registrar and ICU Registrar (Junior), as well as After Hours/Urgent Care work. I have also recently commenced a role as a Panel Physician at Bupa Visa Medical Services, whilst also continuing with my locum work. Having worked throughout Australia from city to regional & rural hospitals I've learned to adapt to many new systems quickly, efficiently and competently to ensure I always practice the best evidence-based medicine possible, In line with my experience and abilities, always striving to provide the best care to my patients. From 2013-2019 I maintained near full time work in Healthcare. I have worked as a Clinical Measurement Scientist in Respiratory and Cardiac Science. I have been part of the research team at Tasman Oncology, employed as a Clinical Trial Assistant, working on multiple phase trials for oncology treatments, particularly with Monoclonal and other checkpoint inhibitors, including the Pembroluzimab trial for melanoma. I continued teaching undergraduate health and medical students throughout this time, particularly in Anatomy/Physiology/Pathophysiology/Pharmacology with Bond & Griffith University whilst also engaged with major pharmaceutical companies in a Consulting Educator Capacity, developing respiratory educational tools and delivering these to doctors throughout QLD & Northern NSW. My goal is to become a competent Doctor, with knowledge and awareness in all areas of the health space, though focused on Critical Care. I continue to pursue improvement in professional development & teaching, as well as the various experiences & opportunities afforded to me through my work. I have been exposed to numerous public and private health services, units and departments, including in the pharmaceutical, corporate and allied health space. I am fortunate to spend time with many different Healthcare Workers, including admin and corporate staff which has afforded me well adept communication and management skills of a wide range of professionals within a diverse team. My efforts in teaching and my work in general provide me extensive leadership experience and ongoing clinical and communication skills development. I hope my career continues to provide me the breadth of opportunities I have been provided, as well as ongoing exposure to those Healthcare Workers - in all fields - past, present & future. I have an interest in moving into, and learning about, the Healthcare Consulting and Analytics space also.
