I have a varied background in writing, education, advertising, and instructional design. My main focus has always been on writing. I studied writing in college and taught first year composition during graduate school. I currently freelance writing arts reviews for This Is Reno, and am a contributing writer for the Reno News and Review. I also have been putting my writing and design skills to use in an internship at Kaborzi Learning, designing courses for other instructional designers. I also currently work part time as a job coach for BRAIN Nevada, assessing and coaching special needs clients wanting to enter the workforce. Writing and teaching are the two things I do best!
