A tutor, author, researcher, film-maker with an interest in visual effects. I was raised on a diet of BBC documentaries, particularly Attenborough, which has given me a fascination for sharing stories through written word, film and video.My Dad first got me interested in film when he used to let me have a go on his cameras, this led me into making promotional films for a variety of clients including Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and supporting projects to make their creative visions come to life. Alongside film-making and teaching, I sit on the editorial team for the Napoleon Series, providing reviews and comment on the latest research on the Napoleonic period.I'm currently researching the extraordinary story of three British regiments in the Napoleonic period around the recruitment of boys soldiers to serve across the globe, which has been commissioned for a book to be submitted for publication next year. I am setting up a promotional video making company with the support of The Prince's Trust mentoring programme.
