The consultancy services were tailored to client needs with emphasis placed on building relationships to grow a sustainable business of process safety activities. The focus was on hazard studies (HazOp, HAZID), SIL assessment (LOPA), DSEAR and ATEX compliance and hazardous area classification, mechanical equipment ignition risk assessments (MEIRA) and pressure relief design and verification.I managed process safety activities from business development with new and existing clients, project estimation, project management, cost control as well as execution of the process safety studies and activities. The process safety team at Engenda also provides in house services to the Engenda Design team for design projects.

Working as a process engineering intern student for the summer of 2006 before my final year of University. I was based in the refinery for the duration of my internship which led onto my graduate position at Grangemouth.
