Develop plans, strategies, goals, & objectives for construction project management staff to implement City of Atlanta long-range Capital Improvement Program. Definition of Capital Projects and Development & Execution to capital assets.Provides strategic, executive level support and consultation to the Executive Staff for the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department (AFRD) specifically on technical and support services for facilities, and serves as departmental liaison for internal and external stakeholders. Provide programming leadership and guidance on AFRD capital design & construction, including both ARFF (Aircraft Rescue & Fire Training)) and city-wide fire stations and facilities. Manage facilities portfolio consisting of 32 site fire stations, a fire training academy, and logistics warehouse location (800k -/+ square feet). Analyze, evaluate & project organizational needs & goals for new and renovated capital project development and design issues; including but not limited to strategic planning and conceptual development.Developed strategic planning strategies for business process improvements supporting sustainable projects, intradepartmental negotiating, and facilities space programming.Lead for all AFRD facility audit & inspections, working closely with DEAM (Dept. of Enterprise Assets Management) to ensure compliance and industry best practices are met.Chairman of the WorkSafe Atlanta (City of Atlanta’s Safety Committee that manages the initiatives of workplace health and safety) & Chairman of the WorkSafe Atlanta Audit and Inspection Sub-committee. (2018-2021)---------The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department serves over 132 square miles (Metropolitan Atlanta Area) and provides mutual aid to neighboring counties upon request with 36 fire stations and approx. 1,100 sworn and civilian personnel.
