Graduate of the University of St. Thomas in May 2022 with a degree in Communication Studies, specializing in International Conflict communication. I am seeking an internship or entry level position through national and international organizations that allow me to use the tools I have been given in communications and public relations to better the world around me.In college I graduated Cum Laude, and was inducted into the collegiate communications honors society.My personal experiences intertwine with many different industries and areas of work. From the age of 16 I started working in food/customer service through a few different companies. Here I gained the foundational knowledge I needed to further understand the work force and what the future would hold. From there I worked all four years of college in the personal care industry, working as a PCA for individuals with disabilities through in home care. This taught me patience, dedication and kindness, which I strive to carry out every day in my life. After this work, and for the past year, I have been working as an English instructor for those learning it as a second language. I have taught in Italy, the island of Guam, and online with students from all over the world. This has helped me gain more international knowledge, including the most efficient ways to communicate an important topic with people from a different environment than my own. My professional communications experience includes working as an International Communications Intern for agro-tourism companies, researching and communicating with potential clients about trends and desires for planned trips, especially in the Rome metropolitan area.I have studied abroad in Italy and have traveled widely around Europe. I am a competent Italian speaker and love to learn about different cultures and how I can best respect and celebrate them. I am currently looking for an opportunity to show how much good I can do, and how my prior experience has set me up to be extremely successful in any area of work I’m in. I am an extremely effective communicator and a very hard worker. With an opportunity to help a company in its communications/public relations departments, I would be given a chance to thrive and impact the world in the positive way I always have wanted to.
