As a full time member of staff with DAI (HTSPE up to 2014 when DAI completed a management buy out of HTSPE), I was responsible for business development activities whilst based in Rwanda and Ethiopia. These included:- From 2012 to 2016, I attended the World Bank Conference on Land and Poverty in Washington DC. I authored or co authored and presented 3 papers. - I provided substantial inputs to UNHABITAT's Fit For Purpose Land Administration paper in 2016.- I carried out numerous business development trips, including trips to Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Finland and Rwanda.- I was part of a team who developed DAI's strategy for land programmes.- I provided workshops on land programmes to the internal DAI team.

The programme was awarded 'Outstanding International Development Project (Non-physical)' by the British Expertise in 2014.I was responisble for Result Based-Management and Results Based- Budgeting, Monitoring and Evaluation, Financial and HR management and control and stepping in as Team Leader.The programme delivered over 10 million land leases to all rightful claimants in Rwanda in 3.5 years at a cost of around $5 per lease to the Government of Rwanda.
