I mentored five first-year UCSB transfer students using my own experience as a fellow transfer student. I would check in on these students via email or text, and monitor how they were acclimating to the academic and social experience of college. I would answer whatever questions the students had and give advice wherever possible. I would refer them to the proper external resources needed to handle issues beyond my expertise.

Managed the KCSB Sports Instagram page during UCSB Basketball Games. Created and posted original content in real-time to keep followers informed throughout each game.

At Westlake Village Inn I leveraged my expertise to go beyond a traditional Bellperson role. I used my organizational skills to store and manage every guest's luggage while ensuring a timely delivery to every room. Additionally, I conducted tours to promote the property to prospective and first-time guests. During these tours, I made conversation with guests and used my communication skills to understand each guest's needs and frame the property accordingly. I also partnered in setup and decoration of on-property weddings and events. In these scenarios I collaborated with wedding and event planners to bring their vision to life.

At Calamigos Guest Ranch I effectively handled a multitude of different tasks every shift and maintained my composure in a turbulent environment. I provided 5 star service to guests at all times, and maintained a positive attitude while always going above and beyond. I showcased my communication skills as I built genuine connections with guests and enhanced their stay. Due to the 24/7 nature of the hospitality industry I would often be left to handle high-stress night shifts alone with no manager present. During these shifts, I balanced multiple tasks at once and thrived with little to no direction. As my seniority within our team increased, I would step in and distribute tasks to my less-experienced coworkers to help keep the department organized when no manager was present. Additionally, I acquired 6 months of room service experience. I delivered meals to guests all over the property and collaborated with the Food & Beverage team to ensure timely delivery.

At DIY Home Center I applied my POS system knowledge to sell items and accept returns and exchanges. Additionally, I stocked inventory, memorized the extensive merchandise catalog and layout of sales floor. I assisted guests in navigating the store, and used my knowledge of the merchandise to help guests make the correct purchase for their needs. I communicated with guests to create an environment of comfort and hospitality.
