In June 2014 DDC completed the acquisition of a Witney based business providing response handling and management services for a portfolio of 19 UK charities. I was employed specifically to oversee the day to day running of the business and to manage it’s transition to the DDC head office in Worksop.During the transition period further new charity clients were acquired/integrated as a direct result of their own management company going into receivership.

London Borough of Brent Council moved into a brand new purpose built Civic Centre building in April 2013 and underwent a digital transformation process ahead of this move. My remit was to design and implement a digital post room to enable the council to transition to its ‘paper lite’ objective by amalgamating post room and paper processing activity for 2,500+ staff across 7 buildings within the borough.Working onsite in the Council's Wembley offices, project implementation required engagement with Board members, stakeholders & service area managers – vital to enable successful delivery to every council employee. The completed project delivered a future-proof, scalable and efficient post room solution

Box-It acquired Stortext in Feb 2010. The role of Operations Manager remained largely unchanged other than adding a requirement to help with the integration of the 2 businesses.

Managed the move of the business to new headquarters and later the integration of 2 businesses post merger, enabling best practices to be adopted across all sites. Created a flexible, scalable operation employing up to 150 operational staff, running 24/6 with a robust and secure infrastructure. Sustained margin improvements due to maximised systems up-time and accurate management information.Used offshore data capture teams, keeping costs low and in turn enabling aggressive pricing, whilst maintaining margins. Key responsibilities included project costing and specification, P&L responsibility, maximising production efficiency & revenue, production & development scheduling, recruitment & training, business continuity planning, client interface, SLA and KPI management, buildings and facility management.

Ran a 24/7 manufacturing and distribution business in the injection moulded housewares and dairy closures market. Responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing and distribution business, maximising performance and profit without compromising the quality of the delivered product. Managed the business move to a greenfield site and introduced total quality management systems and just-in-time manufaturing.
