At Aster Insights, I'm charged with the following mission:* Growing the engineering team, hiring engineers and engineering management at all levels.* Modernize the data platform on Azure, to scale up our ability to capture and normalize clinical and genomic data and deliver it to research hospitals and pharmaceutical customers to accelerate oncology treatments.* Partner with clinical and bioinformatic/biostatistic scientists and researchers to automate processes to improve quality and simplify complex analysis on patient cohorts. * Work across the company to build a strong agile and DevOps/DataOps culture, both in the technology group and beyond.

* Led teams to deliver data and machine learning platforms for Nike using a mix of open source tools and AWS capabilities, processing petabytes of data and building machine learning models using multiple technologies, including Tensorflow, Databricks and NiFi* Scaled the team from 90 to 120, hiring and re-organizing for optimal delivery* Democratized data while protecting consumer privacy meeting/exceeding standards like GDPR, CCPA, and DPA, making data access safe* Partnered with other technology VPs and Sr. Directors to reorganize teams for optimal focus and streamlined accountability

I'm responsible for the Nike+ Web experience and a large portion of their next generation platform for quantified self data collection and gameification.

I ran engineering for the WhitePages mobile team.

Currently working on the mobile services platform.

Lead a team of 10 in the technical direction for the Myspace Events product. Design and build software for that platform, primarily in C#.

As an architect at MySpace I help design, prototype and refactor systems to better suit the scaling challenges that the company faces. In addition to that I pitch in and guide colleagues, as well as collaborate with them to improve our products from a technical perspective.

I am a lead developer in the MySpace Seattle office. The office opened in February and we're currently improving the collaborative portions of our site, such as our forums.Prior to that I was working down in the LA office working on their internal messaging platform, creating a library that enabled quick implementation of asynchronous queue processing, and refactored various business libraries for use by our front end teams.
