I am a geologist by training, and working in the geophysical field since 2007. currently working in the Geophysical Institute of Israel (GII).Our main business is land seismic acquisition throughout the world (Asia, Africa, East Europe and more). GII has extensive experience in both explosives and vibroseis acquisition, operating in remote areas with challenging terrain.Working in a small company, I had a chance to gain experience in a variety of skills. From QC of seismic data (vibroseis and explosive), GIS applications for operation management to designing and executing LVL surveys (Down-Hole, Refraction). I also have experience in land seismic processing in both time and depth domain, and integrating legacy data with new data to create a coherent and continues seismic data sets (Landmark and Paradigm seismic software). I oversee all shallow seismic investigations (refraction, fault detection, seismic procedure for engineering purposes and more) from planning and executing to processing and submitting final reports to the client.From 2010, I am involved in a research of the Levant Basins upper Plio – Quaternary section and focus on advanced seismic interpretation methods such as coherence, spectral decomposition and other. The focus of my research is in submarine channels and their relation to depositional environments, and using this information to infer on channels contribution to the accumulation of the entire sedimentary column.
