I worked on a chain sprocket which I first drew on SOLIDWORKS and then turned in a lathe before it got sent off for a final CNC process.I designed, cut and installed aluminium panels for a horizontal stabiliser on a helicopter.As well shadowing and helping in several other work positions such as, assembling hydraulic crane rotators, installing a water pump for a cabin in the mountains and even online advertisement for the bike department.Completing my internship here opened my eyes to the value of practical skill to grow as an engineer, as well as experience working with various machines and processes gaining a deeper understanding of how things work in industry.

Immersing myself in the summer camp community brought me closer to my jewish identity and helped develop strong interpersonal skills through plentiful training and team building exercises.Being team captain for the maccabiah games meant undertaking a leadership role allowing me to sharpen my skills as well as increasing my confidence through public speaking.Looking after a group of campers 24/7 exposed me to the value of working as a team with my co councillors.

I started tutoring clients alongside my A-Levels to make a little money.Being self-employed forced me to learn how to advertise myself online, this both made more independent and sharpened my marketing skills.The experience I gained also helped develop my interpersonal communication skills by being challenged to break down concepts in simple terms, understanding how people think was crucial for me to provide adequate results in my tuition.
