Medical Studies Major at Arizona State University | Expected to graduate Fall of 2024My name is Pablo Arellano and I am currently working to become a Physician Assistant. I grew up in Phoenix Arizona and in a first-generation household, my parents being from Michoacan Mexico. I currently work at an Urgent Care where I do injections, draw blood, triage patients, and assist the providers with procedures. The skills I have learned from working at Urgent Care have allowed me to find my passion in healthcare, and I want to continue to provide safe support for patients as a Physician Assistant. I have also exposed myself to mentoring students for public speaking, at the CommLab ASU. This is another form that has allowed me to extend my communication skills which will allow me to transfer to working in the medical field.
