With eleven years of teaching experience, eight within an IB World School, I am excited about the prospects of bringing my expertise and passion for education to another field of work. I am a passionate, driven, charismatic, curious, and collaborative teacher/coach with proven success in the classroom, on the pitch, and in positions of leadership.I was born and partially raised in Buenos Aires, and completed secondary studies in the United States. I hold two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree from a private, Catholic university in Portland, Oregon. My professional career began in that very city as a classroom teacher, first in a private school, then in the local public school district, where I taught Spanish-acquisition and Language Arts courses. Moreover, at the latter I was also certified to teach in two of the six subject groups in the Diploma Programme within the International Baccalaureate (Studies in language and literature, Language acquisition). I also hold an active Professional Teaching License from the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission as well as three endorsements: Spanish Acquisition, English for Speaker of Other Languages, and Language Arts from that very governing body. Alongside this, I coached men’s and women’s soccer in a club as well as at the high school.
