Onemain Financial is a consumer loan company with more than 1300 branches nationwide, continuing our 99-year tradition of providing customized personal and home equity loans that are approved and serviced locally by knowledgeable loan specialists.Branch Manager develops new business, retains customers, and manages the loan portfolio. Key responsibilities include developing new sources of business, providing knowledge and expertise to employees regarding loan and insurance products, credit and delinquency decisions, difficult account problems, and servicing accounts. The Branch Manager also manages human resources, establishes production goals, optimizes profitability and controls operating expenses.

Direct four-person team through production and servicing of consumer loans, mortgages, and retail contracts; handle hiring and training. Manage collections and loan approvals/evaluations. Initiate general and foreclosure litigations, interfacing with legal counsel and representing the company. Contribute to business development by meeting with local business owners. Handle staff disciplinary actions and performance evaluations as well as ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal laws. Oversee budgeting, including annual/multi-yet budgets and financial plans, contract reviews, and branch performance analysis. Support senior management in budgeting activities for underperforming branches by assessing financial profits vs. historical data to provide improvement recommendations.
