My background is in Physics, but my interests include Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Project Management (PM), Information Technology (IT), Energy Management, Demand Side Management, Advaced Metering Infraestructre (AMI) and Smart Grid. Due to my work I have taught myself C/C++/GEANT/ROOT Package Analysis/MicroDEM, and Linux network support and management.I have a strong background in optics/photonic systems by having performed R&D in photomultipliers, solid state detectors, fast electronics and ancillary equipment. I have been a member of the "Absolute Photometric Calibration Team" for a large astrophysics facility. Among my most significant publications, I have a review article published in Nature and a research article that made the cover of Science. In the last years I have been involved into Planning and Project Management and I have found been skillful at those. Discovering my natural abilities for Project Management encouraged me to take a Project Management Certificate at CSU and later an international certification by the Project Management Institute.I have taught General Physics courses and Nuclear Instrumentation in Buenos Aires University and San Martin University (Argentina). My students have always ranked me as one of the most innovative and involved teacher they ever had. Perhaps my 7-yr volunteer experience in outreach activities shaped my teaching style. My job has taken me to visit many countries. I have work and lived in 5 countries in 3 continents (Argentina, Italy, Sweden, Slovenia and the US), visited most of western Europe and some countries in Asia. I am fluent in Spanish and English (written/spoken) and Italian (conversational).Specialties: Physics/AstrophysicsProject Management Nuclear instrumentationPhotosensors and ancillary equipmentMultivariable data analysisDemand ResponseEnergy ServicesDemand Side Management/Load ManagementAdvanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)Smart Grid
