As a key contributor to developing and managing the New York State Clean Heat program, I played a pivotal role in driving the electrification of heating solutions across the Residential, Multifamily, Commercial, and Industrial sectors within the Con Edison service territory. I implemented metrics to systematically monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program implementation, installations, and inspections fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, I led stakeholders sessions to enhance their understanding of emerging technologies, best practices, and program updates. I also established and maintained strategic partnerships with the Department of Public Service, Joint Management Committees, and industry stakeholders, ensuring collaborative efforts for ongoing program advancement and success.

As the Track & Post and Cyclomedia Enterprise Geographical Interface System (eGIS) workstream lead, I played a crucial role in overseeing key operations. I facilitated training sessions for the Gas Track & Post Freeze Period and led the Gas & Electric eGIS Go-Live initiative. In my supervisory role, I managed a team of ten union designers, delegating work assignments and providing ongoing support. Additionally, I provided primary support for eGIS quality assurance, quality control, and data clean-up efforts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project execution.

I was key in reviewing, revising, and updating gas specifications and training documents to introduce process improvements while ensuring compliance with 49 CFR Part 192-193, 16 NYCRR Part 255-262, Corporate Instructions, and company procedures. I worked closely with internal stakeholders, the NYS Public Service Commission, and regulatory agencies throughout the specification revision process. Additionally, I collaborated on the implementation of recommendations from the Natural Gas Purging O.S.A. and Working Near Regulators O.S.A. by assessing hazards and introducing administrative and engineering controls. I also facilitated monthly construction manager meetings to promote knowledge sharing, discuss lessons learned, and drive process improvements across all gas operating areas.

As the lead project engineer, I oversaw the design, constructability, and commissioning of a digester gas conditioning system aimed at processing biogas for injection into National Grid's natural gas distribution system. I also spearheaded the design and commissioning of two liquefied natural gas vaporizers. In addition, I provided technical support for various civil and mechanical engineering projects, including the replacement of a liquefied natural gas compressor, the removal of a heavy hydrocarbon drum, the installation of a storage and maintenance building, and renovations at the Citizen Gate Gowanus Canal. I managed project budgets, distributed invoices to contractors, and delivered quarterly financial updates to capital project sponsors and the leadership team.

From May 2017 to March 2018, I moved on from my two-year rotation and I am currently working on inspecting and managing contractor crews that are responsible for installing replacement and new business construction projects. As an inspector I am responsible for ensuring that the gas pipeline construction installation is within compliance with Connecticut Natural Gas’s operation and maintenance construction standards, 49 Code of Federal Regulations 192 – Transportation of natural and other gas pipeline: Minimum Federal safety standards, and Connecticut’s Department of Energy & Environmental Protection: Public Utilities Regulatory Authority’s safety requirements. My responsibilities for the construction department during this one-year rotation also include supporting both the Construction Scheduling and Project Management departments at CNG.
