As a member of the Jobs Data Science and Engineering team, I contributed to the development and optimization of search and recommendation services for job seekers.- Successfully conducted an A/B test for search-alerts (email notifications of new jobs) that increased the clickthrough rate for a subset of users by around 15%. The A/B test implementation was carried out through pair programming with data engineers in Scala, while the analysis of the results was performed in Spark and Python.- Independently developed and deployed a predictive model for estimating job posting traffic in order to enhance marketing campaign targeting and effectiveness.- Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, and UX, to deliver value-added insights and improvements. Actively engaged with UX to better understand user needs and expectations, helping to deliver more personalized and valuable experiences for job seekers on the platform.- Kick-started data quality monitoring efforts, with focus on measuring data and prediction drifts to improve the reliability of our models.

As a Data Scientist on the Advanced Analytics team at GDS MODELLICA, I played a versatile role in helping clients manage credit default risk and optimize decision-making processes. My experience covered data engineering, analytics, modeling, and software engineering.- Designed and implemented a series of modules to standardize and streamline machine learning development, resulting in significantly reduced training times and improved workflow efficiency.- Built end-to-end credit default risk models, covering the entire machine learning lifecycle from requirement gathering and data ingestion to model deployment and performance monitoring.- Developed and maintained a library for generating attributes (features) from raw bank transaction data, transforming bank statements into behavioral insights. This quickly became one of GDS's top-selling offerings for assessing default risk in small consumer loans.- Introduced a Continuous Integration pipeline and unit testing suite for our internal machine learning libraries using GitHub Actions.- Containerized our in-house model monitoring solution using Docker, creating a docker-compose recipe for faster and more efficient deployment.

Joined the summer 2020 edition of the Science to Data Science bootcamp by Pivigo. The aim of the bootcamp is to aid research scientists to move from academia to industry, providing them of commercial awareness through a one week mini MBA followed by an intensive five week commercial project. As part of the project, I joined a team of five S2DS fellows for the delivery of a user base segmentation and a predictive model for their monthly customer churn to EdPlace. Using these results, the marketing team could better understand and retain leaving customers.
