I take a hands on approach to life and work. I like to think that I fit in many boxes because I'm constantly expanding my capabilities. I have both intuition and experience and I get things done.I learned my first programming language at the age of six and sold my first commercial application at sixteen. If I don't know something, I can learn it quickly and on my own. During my lifetime, I have written programs in a variety of general propose and specialized languages including among others; Assembler, C/C++/ObjectiveC, Scheme, Perl, PL/SQL, Java and JavaScript. I'm equally comfortable writing iOS mobile applications, web front ends or enterprise level backend software. I'm also able to setup and manage any infrastructure (servers/networks) needed to support an application. I hold BS in Computer Systems Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Advanced Studies where I achieved the highest score in my graduating class'​ overall examination.I earned an MBA with dual concentrations in Finance (Investments) and Strategy from the SMU Cox School of Business. Where I was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and received the Cox Dean's circle award for completing over 90 hours of extracurricular leadership training and programs such the Disney Institute and The Leadership Challenge. At SMU, I also participated in the Private Equity and Venture Capital Practicum, interning at Silvercreek Ventures (a Dallas based technology venture capital fund) evaluating startups and making investment recommendations.I'm also an entrepreneur. One of the companies I cofounded, achieved sales of $100M+ and earned Mexico’s national export award, which the highest recognition given to companies that demonstrate outstanding effort, creativity and commitment in promoting Mexican products abroad.
