I manage the engineering department responsible for the development of tracking devices using GPS and different communications channels for tracking and fleet management.I´m responsible that developments meet business requirements for Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay which requires close working with country managers and the commercial department of each country.I have implemented standard development methodologies and programming techniques that let us minimize errors during the development of new products and substantially shorten the time for changes to existing products.The development process implemented also allowed the certification of ISO 9001:2008 standard.

I was the team leader of the C++, Java and .Net development teams of our client CambridgeSoft, a U.S. company that sells software products for the pharmaceutical and chemical industry.I was responsible for selecting candidates for the team, training new members on the development process and reporting projects and team status to the product manager.I also was a developer for C++ team.

I worked for the engineering department of Sitrack.Com as a project manager. Sitrack.Com. is a company that provides AVL (automatic vehicle localization) services.The projects I coordinate included the development of systems, hardware and the use of telecommunications services provided by external suppliers.I was responsible for planning and assigning tasks to team members.As an example of successfully coordinated projects I can mention:-Implementation of a tracking services for monitoring fishing vessels, integrating our system with different government agencies that control the sea resources of Argentina.-Design and approval of equipment for satellite tracking of fishing ships under the requirements of the Chilean government.

Worked for the R&D department as a development engineer.My main tasks were the development of vehicle tracking equipment.Tasks performed:Microprocessor-Programming in C and assembler.Manufacture and installation of GPS tracking devices prototypes using cellular communication systems such as AMPS, TDMA, and satellite as INMARSAT C.Field-testing of prototypes and system developments.Preparation of detailed engineering and manufacturing documentation.
