With over 15 years of experience working in financial markets within equities, today I am the Head of Brazil and Latam Equities at Schroders, where I also head up Emerging Markets Research.I was born and raised in Mexico City, where I graduated in Economics from ITAM and started my career in 2006, doing equity research for the Latin American team at Credit Suisse. In 2010, I came to London to join Schroders’ Emerging Markets team, a strongly integrated, international team of senior professionals that has been widely recognised for consistently generating value to our clients through time.In 2014, I took over leadership of Brazil and Latin America, where I manage funds for local and international clients. Since 2020, I am also Head of Research for Global Emerging Markets and in early 2021 I became co-manager of the EM Small Caps fund. I am a CFA charterholder and am fluent in Spanish (native), English and Portuguese.
