Full P&L Responsibility for the Office Supply, Technology and business Services, Retailer and B2B Company with operations in Central America (Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama) and The Dominican Republic, with 31 retail stores and over 900 employees, as a fully owned subsidiary of Office Depot Mexico and reporting to the CEO. General Management responsibilities include Retail Operations, B2B sales, Human Resources, Purchasing, Marketing and Finance in order to grow the business profitably and streamline expenses, in line with corporate goals.

Focus on sales development of occupational / safety shoes and boots to the cement, oil and gas, manufacturing and military markets, under the Rhino brand, having been an approved supplier to several Armed Forces in Europe, including The UK, France, Germany and Spain. Key export markets include Central America, with company own operations in Nicaragua and Costa Rica, and third party distribution in El Salvador, Honduras and Panama, as well as sourcing customer brands in the U.S. (Wolverine, Sears/Kmart, Academy and others). Main responsibilities include the development of 20 retail stores in Guatemala, representing international brands. Awarded 2017 Exporter of The Year.

Country Manager – Central America & The CaribbeanGeneral Management and full P&L Responsibility for the Company´s business in Central America and The Caribbean, including start-up businesses, most recently in the Dominican Republic. Results to date include quadrupling the sales volume and taking the company from #7 to #2 spot in OTC (ims MAT Mar´12), through reorganizing and expanding the local team, focusing on Sales and Distribution, Media Planning, Marketing, and Logistics, as well as expanding the distributor network from 4 to 12, for the OTC Dermo-Cosmetic and Medicinal lines, sold mainly in the Drug, Grocery, Specialty and Traditional Channels, throughout the region. Responsibilities also include Regulatory affairs.

Responsible for managing the PepsiCo beverage franchise operation in several countries in Central America, including Bottlers and Distributors. Full P&L, Marketing, and sales responsibility. Key responsibilities in include developing the strategic and annual operating plans that drive the business balancing short and long term results. Actively participated in community activities such as Habitat for Humanity and Un Techo por mi País.

Responsible for Sales and Marketing of the Mars business throughout Central America, calling and developing distributors as well as direct customers, reporting to the regional director in Miami. Responsibilities also included advertising and trade marketing. Consistently exceeding plan, more than doubling the multi-unit sales volume since taking on the region, while maintaining within the Advertising and Promotions budget.

Responsible for the launch of three new consumer products in 10 months, from planning and market research to strategic execution. Achieving leadership positions in their respective segments, butter, processed cheese, and cream. Responsible for sales of these new products throughout the region. Managed the worldwide development of a new cream product with headquarters in New Zealand.

Responsible for sales growth of 30% above previous year in the Quick Service Restaurant channel, specifically, international chains in Central America, Aruba, and Curacao.

Responsible for the launch, development and advertising of Hair Care Brands in Central America. Specifically, Head & Shoulders® and Pert Plus® and well as the development and advertising of Health Care / Cough and Cold Brands in Central America and The Dominican Republic. Managed a project to make Vick’s® Throat Drops an every day Candy through developing a “singles” SKU, advertising and horizontal distribution.
