I am focused on assisting clients with business development, strategic communications and government relations. I spent 25 years at Honeywell working on key issues in 30 states as Vice President of Corporate & State Relations. I also was Executive Director of the Honeywell Corporate Giving Program for 10 years.I followed up my corporate career as President of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce for ten years. In this role I represented businesses of all sizes with government officials and worked to create personal relationships for business leaders who wanted to grow their sales and customer base. I have worked with elected leaders at all levels of government and served in the State House of Representatives in my home state of Maine.Client services include helping my pharmaceutical client secure numerous permits from their municipality in support of a multi-million dollar expansion. This allowed the company to stay on schedule as they introduce a new molecule to this plant.A second client has received municipal approval to build 110 apartments in their community. I worked closely with the mayor and her team to secure a Redevelopment Agreement that will guide the project in the months ahead.For a third client, a state agency, I helped draft a communications plan related to school closings in their state. This included provided advice and counsel to the agency director.Finally, I established new relationships for two clients with global companies in aerospace, life sciences, and insurance . Over the last several months I have also assisted a leading non-profit organization in their effort to build affordable housing in New Jersey.I will bring experience, integrity and "an acute sense of propriety," to your business and organizational challenges .
