- Serve as data collection subject matter expert to: - Improve company efficiency and stakeholder experience by partnering with teams outside of Operations - Support Sales inquiries and priority calls with customers - Keep internal teams up-to-date on evolving data capture technology and capabilities - Plan, perform, and support experimental data collection to test new technologies and determine best practices- Evaluate and test new UAS and flight planning systems- Lead partnerships with UAS manufacturers, integrators, and (re)sellers- Own data quality KPIs & SOPs (internal & external); facilitate development, documentation, and implementation across teams- Review, support maintenance, and steward the implementation of data collection SOPs

- Manage Drone Service Provider Partner Network- Coordinate solar farm inspections with drone pilots- Provide technical support to drone pilots, both subcontractors and customers- Maintain and update flight guidelines and data requirement documentation, and add in new material as new hardware becomes available- Conduct flight testing on hardware to streamline data collection processes- Provide logistical support to ensure proper FAA authorizations are in place to conduct inspections- Communicate key updates regarding drone flight timelines

Assist with the collection, production, and presentation of engineering quality geospatial information. Inform engineers, licensed contractors, and utility system owners on construction plans of subsurface utility locations. Collect mapping data using drones, 3D laser scanners, total station and GPS.
