In August 2015, I made a move to join the family at Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company and have brought my eight years of financial and management experience along with me. Being "raised" in the financial community at a credit union has taught me the relevance of community banking and the importance of solid, strong relationships with those that we serve in the financial world, and Clear Lake Bank & Trust is an amazing example of those relationships. At CLB&T I specialize in new accounts, IRA & CD investments, and all types of consumer loans, all while maintaining my grassroots banking philosophy of people helping people.I am a native of the North Iowa area and gained my management experience from managing several restaurants that were owned by my family previous to joining the financial world. Having the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high energy, often times stressful environment I gained skills in customer service, time management, and supervision in a team setting. Because I have personal experience as a caregiver to someone with cancer, I actively volunteer with the American Cancer Society and have been the Cerro Gordo county Relay For Life's event co-chairperson for the past three years.
