As Deputy Headmaster I helped lead the school through the pandemic to emerge stronger than ever before, with numbers on roll rising by well over 60% over two school years from August 2021.I helped review, update and relaunch the school's mission and vision statements, and helped bring about a whole-school values-driven focus using Respect, Compassion and Integrity as the core values.I also helped prepare the school for CIS/NEASC accreditation.

Thailand

As Principal, I drove the move towards a values-driven approach in the Primary School focused on Respect and Kindness, subsequently extended throughout the whole school as Respect, Compassion and Integrity.I raised the profile of, and introduced weekly timetabled lessons in, Wellbeing and Computer Science throughout Primary and brought in a rigorous system of standardised testing for both formative and summative purposes in order to support, develop and track children's learning.I helped lead the school through a successful CIS/NEASC re-accreditation (2018) and prepare for the next (2023).I led the Primary through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, including instigating a program of online learning and maintaining community confidence such that the school has emerged stronger than ever before, as measured by demand for places.I have overseen an increase in student roll in the Primary School well in excess of 30% since my arrival in August 2017, including a doubling of roll in 17 months (August 2021 -January 2023) as we emerged from the pandemic, so that numbers in Primary attained an all-time high for BISP with capacity having been reached in most year groups by Term 3 2023.
