I founded American Apartment Services with the goal of assisting property managers in the Birmingham area with reducing costs and increasing earnings by offering various services at a more reasonable rate.Prior to founding AAS, I spent over a decade in environmental research and carbon combustion, eventually founding my own company conducting various types of environmental research projects for clients such as Southern Company and the Environmental Power Research Institute. I have lead research teams to design and alter systems used in carbon combustion research at power plants. I also operated and maintained a pilot baghouse, SO3 generators, and continuous gas emission monitors (CEMs) as a contractor for the Environmental Power Research Institute. I designed and patented a mobile CEMs laboratory that was used in various carbon research projects.I have a BS in Biology and Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a BS in Computer Science from the University of the People.
