Global Fellow Research Placement
During summer 2018, I participated in the Imperial College-Tsinghua University Global Fellows Programme in Climate Change and Energy, based at Tsinghua University in Beijing. The programme consisted of an intensive 1-week summer school, followed by a short research placement within the Chemical Engineering Department at Tsinghua, supervised by Prof. Xuebing Zhao (self-organised). The placement involved investigated the dehydration products of bio-based chemicals.
