High-Rise Division

On-site association manager responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of a 31-story condominium building in metro Atlanta. Community has more than 280 units with a two-person maintenance staff and 24/7 concierge staff with a separate fitness center, pool and tennis courts.

Sugarloaf Country Club, Duluth, Georgia

Executive Director of a 5,000+ member homeowner’s association in metro-Atlanta. Oversaw the day to day property management of the development as well as serving as the liaison between the association, government and the outside development community. Budget for 2013 is $4.3+ million and includes management of private road system, stormwater/lake system, patrol function and more than 50 acres of common area landscaping & maintenance. Community is luxury gated community north of Atlanta and features a PGA-owned golfcourse, the TPC at Sugarloaf.

Wrote and implemented the first performance-based zoning ordinance in Georgia, the City of Chamblee’s MidCity District. The document was awarded the Georgia Planning Association’s “Outstanding Planning Document” for 2001.Completed the first federally-funded Livable Center Initiative (LCI) study. This study is a regionally-recognized plan for sustainable growth currently highlighted on the Atlanta Regional Commission web site. The plan was awarded more than $6 million in federal funds for redevelopment and to date has spurred $37.4 million in new commercial, residential and mixed-use development within the confines of the study area. Based on the success of this plan, the City of Chamblee was awarded a second 10-year update grant in February 2013 to further the reach of the first grant.Designed and managed the launch of a national branding campaign for the City of Chamblee using only the funds generated by hotel/motel tax from two city motels.
