I flourish at the intersection between art and science where both work together harmoniously to explain our world.I am the author/illustrator of a best-selling four-book series called the Visual Analogy Guides with Top Hat that cover the fields of anatomy, physiology, anatomy & physiology, and chemistry. In addition, I also work as a freelance scientific illustrator. Lastly, I am Professor Emeritus of Anatomy & Physiology at Grand Rapids Community College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
