During the ab-initio training, which includes a mix of physical drills, swimming, obstacle courses, navigation exercises, and basic seamanship, an unfortunate incident occurred during a particularly challenging obstacle course and fell awkwardly, resulting in a severe injury to my right elbow. After a prolonged period of rehabilitation and several medical evaluations, it became clear that my injury would prevent me from performing my duties as a sailor.
