Working on Microsoft's Commerce Platform, specifically the billing services team. Here I helped increase BI into Microsoft revenue, increasing accuracy of revenue reporting - specifically around deferred revenue. I also helped drive a push that stabilized our services, moving them from a services that periodically missed our SLA to a service that exceeded our SLAs for over 1 year continuously.

Hermary Opto makes high end machine vision products. Working at this small company I was able to take a lead role in the creation of the next generation of their hardware platform. This included driving the development and fabrication of a new high speed circuit and the VHDL modernization of its patented machine vision algorithms. I also made significant contribution in software. Here I owned the tool suite used at Hermary to test, demo and configure their scanners. Here I made significant strides to modernize their UI and developed new features to align with the new capabilities of the scanners.I also was able to work on the real time embedded environment. Here I was able to help bridge the gap between our new hardware features and the software that leveraged them. This tight alignment with hardware also helped me in identifying bottlenecks in our software that I was able to optimize in hardware producing a dramatic increases in their scanner's performance.
