I am a performing artist with more than 30 years of industry experience. My work encompasses performance, choreography, training and dance evaluation..A member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, U.K. and a graded member of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, I have designed and executed workshops for prestigious institutions such as Oxford University, Birmingham University, London School of Contemporary Dance and Bradford University, to name a few. .An educationist at heart, I have launched one of the biggest portals for learning Kathak called learnkathakonline.com, with which I connect with over 2 million Kathak dancers on a weekly basis across the world. .Recognised as the ‘Kathak Ambassador' at the House of Lords, London Parliament and Cultural Ambassador in the UAE for my contribution to the propagation of classical Indian dance forms beyond Indian borders, gives me a greater sense of attachment to my Indian lineage..As Artistic Director of Gurukul Studios Dubai, Bangalore and Switzerland, I mentor and guide my faculty memebers and 400 students in learning Kathak since 2006. Innovation and international collaboration are my strong suites. In my London-based Pali Peacock Productions I fused Kathak with art forms like “Flamenco, Tap, Western Contemporary, Ballet and Bharathnatyam” for productions that toured all over the world. During this period I:• Spearheaded highly successful collaborations with the likes of Shankar Mahadevan • Conceptualized, choreographed and executed global tours with productions liked Shakespeare In Kathak (Germany & Switzerland), Across (Spain) to name a few• Consistently toured the globe catering to repeat requests of performances world over.

• Facilitated and executed workshops that aimed to promote unity through dance by synthesising world music and developing movement to it • Pervasive program that targetted and infilterated all sections of the community from nurseries to corporates

- Spearheaded the innovative Art In Action exhibitions for the South Asian segment of the Oxford initiative aimed to educate audiences from around the world about all aspects of staging a dance production - Facilated interactive workshops and lecture demonstrations that encouraged active audience participation

- Founded a performing arts academy that had 2 week residency programs operating all over India - The academy aimed to train and equip national level dancers with the skill set required to 'dance through lenses' i.e the art of performing in front of a TV camera
