I am a performing artist with more than 30 years of industry experience. My work encompasses performance, choreography, training and dance evaluation..A member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, U.K. and a graded member of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, I have designed and executed workshops for prestigious institutions such as Oxford University, Birmingham University, London School of Contemporary Dance and Bradford University, to name a few. .An educationist at heart, I have launched one of the biggest portals for learning Kathak called learnkathakonline.com, with which I connect with over 2 million Kathak dancers on a weekly basis across the world. .Recognised as the ‘Kathak Ambassador' at the House of Lords, London Parliament and Cultural Ambassador in the UAE for my contribution to the propagation of classical Indian dance forms beyond Indian borders, gives me a greater sense of attachment to my Indian lineage..As Artistic Director of Gurukul Studios Dubai, Bangalore and Switzerland, I mentor and guide my faculty memebers and 400 students in learning Kathak since 2006.
