Surrounded by the artistically gifted, I assisted in the annual communication and marketing implementation and evaluation for a Buenos Aires-based Opera company. I created new agreements and evaluated existing ones with other cultural associations. Part of my duties was to elaborate reports for a better decision-making process regarding annual budget and strategic decisions. I also coordinated events and social media and took part in the annual fundraising campaign in 2016 and 2017, which involved numerous negotiations and conflict resolution with all the stakeholders.

In this exciting and challenging position, I dealt with the different steps of exporting dangerous, radioactive, and fragile pharmaceutical goods from the US and Europe to emerging markets. As part of the EMEA team, I manage the product orders from governmental agencies and hospitals of several countries (in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa), each with their specific laws and regulations, and through the process of invoicing, including the assessment of their financial situation with our company.

My job was to liaise and evaluate complex cases with the medical and legal departments, along with internal standards and regulatory affairs. Then I would assess the ethical implications and determine the type of coverage or service the patient would receive from the Company. Finally, I would be to inform the patient of the outcome. In most cases, this involved defusing conflictive situations that, if not properly addressed, could result in court presentations and legal demands against the Company.

Stakeholder management with a human face. My duties included invoicing, refunds, pre-authorizations of medical procedures and answering enquiries regarding the health insurance service.
