• As the Office Manager I am responsible for providing leadership to the Customer Liaison and Office Management Teams Including Executive assistants to GM's, CE and Mayoral office. The Office Manager is also responsible.
• Achieving excellence in customer service by effectively coaching and managing a team of Customer Liaison and Office management Teams; and
• Developing and maintaining team members with the knowledge and skills required to perform within the Customer Liaison and Office Management Teams standards; and
• Identifying and promoting improvements to Council’s customer service under the umbrella of our Customer Excellence Charter; and
• Being an advisor to the organisation on matters pertaining to the provision of customer service and be the customer champion and advocate.

Providing leadership and achieving customer excellence by effective coaching. Developing a team and ensuring they have knowledge and skills required to perform and exceed the Customer Contact Teams standards. Identifying and promoting improvements to Councils Customer Service under the umbrella of the Customer Excellence Strategy.

Co-ordinate and Manage people, processes, systems and standards to deliver world class operational performance. Support contract delivery that exceeds the contracted performance standards around call and work order management.Ensure excellence with innovation and ensure continuous improvement of current technology and processes.

To develop empowered and effective teams through leadership, coaching, training and performance along with work load management to achieve operational excellence.To drive the strategy of the Gen-i Desk’s business plan through Right First Time (RFT) and business improvements which improve the cost effectiveness of the business unit.
