I am a trusted legal and business advisor to entrepreneurs at every stage of their business. Helping business owners make better decisions and manage risk, I partner with clients to select the correct form of entity, draft ownership control documents such as shareholder agreements, review and negotiate contracts, establish employment practices and documents, obtain financing, acquire and sell assets, purchase, sell or lease commercial real estate, and establish succession plans and exit strategies. I also advise a broad range of nonprofit organizations. My work with these organizations includes advising them on formation issues, board governance, the application for tax exempt status and the applicability of federal regulations.I have taught courses in Real Estate Law at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts and Business Law and Contracts/Commercial Law at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts, and I frequently lecture on topics of business and employment law at the Center for Women and Enterprise.
