I have had a very fulfilling massage career over the past 30 years in Toronto, Canada, Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia, San Francisco, California, Uruguay S.A. and in the Mid-Hudson Valley NY.I still see a few clients in those places when I am traveling but am winding down currently and focusing on getting Robert Kennedy Jr. Elected as President in 2024!I am very proud to have created two unique massage programs in my career. On Cape Breton Island my Aunt, a NP and I hosted C-Elder-bration, a Celebration of Elders which was a tribute given to each attending Elder by their family, an opportunity for the Elder to share wisdom they wished to pass along followed by a chair massage. In San Francisco I created the Touch Lifting Community (TLC) Program, a community service program in which I guided children from 5-15 in a simple nurturing playful fully clothed chair massage routines.This was in The Fillmore District and our children were mostly of Afro American and Latino ethnicities often from broken homes. They felt so proud to bring these these skills home to massage parents, grandparents, siblings and pets! They were taught the difference between appropriate and inappropriate touch and empowered to be guardians of their personal autonomy. I was trained in Toronto at Sutherland -Chan Massage School in their 2200 hour 2-year program. I offer Swedish, Hot Stone, Chair and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage and teach as well. My Hot Stone training was in San Francisco, and Lomi Lomi Training was at Harbin Hot Springs in northern California where I taught for many years. I couldn't imagine a more gratifying career, making people feel good and experiencing the wonderful benefits of massage myself.
