In 2004 I began to work with textile art as a hobby. My hobby grew into the design and sales of high-end clothing and accessories. Many of my pieces are worked by hand all the way from collecting the raw materials to spinning, weaving and dyeing of the yarn or cloth to the design and creation of the finished item.At present I work on commission only, spending more time with public education in some of these nearly lost arts. Including - Couture sewing, fiber creativity, spinning, weaving, and knitting. Lecturing on the historical uses of fiber production and demonstration from fleece to garment.

While at university, I worked various temporary jobs, mainly in engineering and industrial companies. It was during that time that I discovered the fascinating world of Information Technologies. I had the good fortune of working with colleagues willing to teach me skills in the very new area of desktop computing. Companies sought out people who understood computer networks, database design, transitions between PCs and Apple computers, and hardware and software problem-solving. Although self-taught, continuous learning and updating my knowledge has served me well in various positions; From public relations to haute couture sales, graphic novel design, to the present need for video communication specialists. A great background for a quickly changing world.
