With 20+ years of experience in Office Operations, I manage a wide range of projects, support senior executives and serve as a central hub for our Global Solutions team. Within the Financial Services industry, there’s constant change and complexity facing all of us, so I take great satisfaction in ensuring we’re well-organized, efficient and operating as a team. To that end, I am continually helping others so we can achieve the tasks at hand. Since our Global Solutions team includes all Sales & Relationship Management, Marketing & Communications, Client Operations and DTCC’s commercial business units, the scope of our work together is significant. Beyond the day-to-day challenges of assisting Executives, I thrive on bringing large projects to fruition, whether it’s our annual Global Sales & Relationship Management conference, external off sites or internal bi-monthly town hall meetings. I enjoy the role of “choreographer” to make sure all the details come together as planned. With special events, there’s an additional layer of complexity that always inspires me to get creative. For many years, I’ve been coordinating “live” performances. To make sure they get rave reviews, I work behind the scenes on the sound, visuals, technology, rehearsals with all of the speakers, testing and thorough preparation. Creating the “experience” and seeing it all come together is always gratifying. In addition, I enjoy the planning and communication required to bring all of our global team members together for specific events. Working on the communication and logistics to ensure every detail has been anticipated is always one of my highest priorities. All of my colleagues will tell you that part of our secret sauce for any event is my encyclopedic knowledge of music. I take great pleasure in combining my love of music with our selection of theme songs and playlists. They’re always a big hit – and they create a fun and positive experience for everyone!
