I designed the taxonomic structure and mapped the core concepts to a common set of keywords to reduce ambiguity in Leadership conversations and in Tech planning conversations, in addition to coordinating the ML project efforts and interfacing between Business and Tech stakeholders. This system provided substantial cost savings by increasing routing accuracy, reduced incident response time by replacing manual data dives with automated classifications, and transformed how the business discusses and measures impacts.

The end to end user experience on amazon.com was impacted, so my design required changes by 47 teams across 4 divisions in 8 countries. The experience was launched simultaneously across all platforms (desktop, mobile web, phone apps, tablet apps) and experienced zero major issues/bugs during the 4 week burn in period.- Prime Free Same Day is the second highlight in the Amazon.com Q2 2015 Quarterly Financial Results (July 23, 2015).- Prime Free Same Day is mentioned in the Prime section of the Amazon.com 2015 Annual Report.

Experience highlights: full stack technology design, high TPS design, QA Manager, project manager, international cross-functional team managementDesigned, built, and launched a new framework for messaging Prime shipping speeds via badging and messaging across multiple pages (Search, DetailPage, OfferListingPage, Cart, Checkout) within the Amazon site and apps. Framework enables faster time to market for specialized messaging and complex use cases, like comparisons between deliver address and inventory locations. My design required extensive code changes throughout the Amazon ecosystem to switch from a single static flag check to a combination of precomputed and real time data, all without impacting page load latency. The program required changes by 32 teams in 4 countries for the initial launch. My design is now the Amazon world wide standard for communicating Prime benefit shipping speed as part of the Prime icon display, across all countries/marketplaces and across all platforms (desktop, mobile web, phone, tablet).
